04/30/2019 Update: Progress report
almost 7 years ago – Tue, Apr 30, 2019 at 08:06:01 PM

Hi everyone,

I'm just hopping in to let you know I haven't forgotten about you, and I certainly haven't stopped working on this project!  Layout was scrapped because of some issues with the overall design, and I'm going back through it now.

I'm also scrapping the character classes because, after the writer spent a ton of time getting the material to me, he gave me this long list of all the Pathfinder Open gaming Content he used, and that was completely unsatisfactory.

No, there isn't anything wrong with Open Gaming Content. Publishers do that all of the time. But I'm not going to publish a ton of OGC in my books. The classes felt cobbled together and it's made even worse that they were not good conversions.

So there have been a few setbacks, but I'm continuing to move forward.

03/21/-2019 Update: Plugging along
about 7 years ago – Thu, Mar 21, 2019 at 09:26:14 AM

Hi everyone, just popping in for an update.

Sadly there's not much new to post, except that layout is coming along and I'm starting to get ready for art orders. I generally don't order art until the book is close to completion.

I don't have any firm dates right now, but I am working on everything.

02/06/2019 Update: More Work
about 7 years ago – Wed, Feb 06, 2019 at 05:24:23 PM

Hi everyone, Just an update here. We're still working on everything. I sent the classes to get another edit, and I'm really glad I did, because a lot of issues were exposed (Like no archetypes, bad flavor for some of the sci-fantasy elements, redundant design, etc.).

We're working on correcting that stuff and making sure everything is consistent. All in all, it's good this happened; the book will be much better for it.

12/30/2018 Update: Progress....sort of.
over 7 years ago – Sun, Dec 30, 2018 at 12:38:10 PM

Hi everyone, time for an update.

Things are still progressing (obviously) slow; having troubles with some writers, and i can't believe it, but some backers still haven't bothered getting me creatures(!).

I've sent much of this book to editing, and am beginning layout on what I have that  has come back, and I hope to get you some samples soon.

As I mentioned in a previous update, there are going to be two spell caster character classes, and the raw text alone is upwards of 80 pages including new spells, creatures, and feats...a big addition to the book, but I felt it was needed.

In closing, this has been a horrible experience for me, and I'm sure nobody can be happy about it. I am working diligently on this book and a bunch of other projects at the same time, and as always I thank you for your patience.

I hope you all have a happy, SAFE New Years celebration.
